USAIG and ERA Announce Era Training Center as Approved “Safety Buck” Training Facility

United States Aircraft Insurance Group (USAIG) and Era Training Center LLC (Era Training Center) of Lake Charles, Louisiana announced today the addition of the Era Training Center as an approved source for Eurocopter AS350 and EC135 training. The approval will permit operators of AS350 and EC135 helicopters to use their USAIG “Safety Bucks” at the Era Training Center located at the Lake Charles Regional Airport beginning April 1, 2009.

The approval will permit operators of AS350 and EC135 helicopters to use their USAIG “Safety Bucks” at the Era Training Center located at the Lake Charles Regional Airport beginning April 1, 2009.

The approval will permit operators of AS350 and EC135 helicopters to use their USAIG “Safety Bucks” at the Era Training Center located at the Lake Charles Regional Airport beginning April 1, 2009.

Opened in mid-2008, Era Training Center achieved qualification of two advanced Level 6 Flight Simulator Training Devices: the AS350 B2 and EC135 CPDS P2+. In addition, the Center obtained a CFR part 142 Certificate designating it as a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Approved Training Center.
